What sets the Sky Blue Soccer School apart from the rest? We offer the unique advantage of a largely female school staff that provides girls with high-quality training from coaches they can look up to. The Sky Blue Soccer School works interactively with the Sky Blue FC professional staff to create top-notch programs for enthusiastic students of the game.

The SBS School also offers two special player identification programs, the Junior Blues Collegiate and Professional Preparatory Program and the Baby Blues Program.

 9/3/09 Sky Blue Soccer School Hosted by Shenedahowa High School

Clifton Park, NY - Shenendehowa High School Girls Soccer, located near Albany, New York, has always been a successful program. In fact, in 2004 they won the New York State Championship.

             But in one session with Sky Blue Soccer School, the program was given some new tools to work with. On Thursday, September 3, five coaches from the School made the trip to Shenendehowa. In a three-hour session for 65 players and  five coaches on the freshman, JV, and Varsity  girls squads, they introduced technical, tactical and physical elements that were largely new to the participants.

            The elite training was a combination of sophisticated soccer--directly adapted from the system used by their team, Sky Blue FC, the 2009 Women's Professional Soccer Champions.

           Said Holli Muholland, Head Coach of the Shenendehowa Varsity team, "In one day, Sky Blue Soccer School taught us something new and exciting, in a totally "female-oriented" environment, and we had a lot of fun doing it. After the tactical organization session the JV team was able to go from losing a scrimmage to the superior Varsity 5-0 to holding the older team to a 1-0 score."

            Few, if any, can boost the unique qualifications that Sky Blue Soccer School brings to their profession. The five coaches who did the Shenendehowa session all have college coaching experience, and currently coach on both the State and Regional Olympic Development Program level. Two of them have played semi-pro or professional soccer.

            These same coaches train many other high school and/or club teams throughout the state of New Jersey.
